The Parochial Church Council of the Ecclesiastical Parish of St Mark’s Kennington is governed by the Parochial Church Council Powers Measure (1956) as amended and Church Representational Rules that came into force on 2nd January 1957. The PCC has complied with the duty under section 5 of the Safeguarding and Clergy Discipline Measure 2016(duty to have regard to House of Bishops’ guidance on safeguarding children and vulnerable adults). A recent safeguarding audit was carried out. St Mark’s PCC has the responsibility of cooperating with the Vicar in promoting the whole mission of the church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. It also has maintenance responsibilities for the church, Montgromery Hall and 1 Prima Road.
